
Chair
Bill Knapp founded the Association to promote health and wellness and create awareness of the many resources available throughout our community. Bill also serves as a Trustee for the Glenbrook High School Foundation. He is a four-time Ironman, an avid bicyclist, and divides his time between the North Shore and Southern Arizona.

Treasurer
Molly Walsh Schmidt has earned her finance degree and an MBA. She manages to find the time to balance the books of the organization and maintain budgets. Molly also helps organize our events and recruit volunteers. Both of Molly's children attended GBS and she continues to call Glenview home.

Secretary
Stephanie Shapiro Furman is an elementary school principal who cares deeply about the health and wellness of our country's youth. Stephanie records the minutes of the Association's meetings and drafts correspondence regarding the Association's upcoming events and activities.

Vice Chair
The Association is currently seeking a volunteer to represent the Association at the request of the Chair and assume the duties of the Chair in his or her absence. Please contact us to apply.

Director
Mary has been serving Glenbrook South students since her freshman year on student council. Coming from a large family of dedicated Titans, Mary brings her flair for design and aesthetics to the Association's events and activities. Mary still lives on the North Shore.

Director
Maren is an experienced paralegal who serves both the GBS Alumni Association and the Glenbrook High School Foundation. She is a proud parent of two current Titans. Her empathy and listening skills add value to every organization she serves.

Director
Laura is an Illinois State Senator who supports initiatives that strengthen public education, expand access to health care, and create greater opportunities for students and families. “Strong schools, accessible health care, and vibrant local communities are the foundation of a thriving Illinois."

Director
Bill Winett is an IT leader, consultant, requirements gatherer, system implementor, administrator for climate and sustainability related nonprofits and a huge asset to our Alumni Association.

Director
Craig's attention to detail is evident in his architectural career. His contributions to the Association are broad assisting us with his extensive non-profit experience, musical talents, and event coordination skills. Craig is proud to still call Glenview home.

Director
Ed is deeply concerned about the health of our fellow alumni. Ed wants to help classmates find the resources they need to lead healthier lives. His love of GBS Athletics has been evident since his days as a leader in the Titan football program.

Director
Mike (Mic) Dibo says he has lost too many friends to suicide and mental health issues. He has been leading Titans to greatness since his days as the quarterback for the # 1 high school football team in the nation. Mic lives within walking distance of GBS.

Director
Dr. Simon Kim, MD, is a nationally recognized urologic oncologic surgeon who specializes in prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, penile cancer and adrenal cancer. Simon is laser focused on spreading wellness. He credits much of his success to the GBS STEM Program.

Director
Terry was active in student government, Key Club, and football at GBS. Terry credits the school for equipping him for the rigors of West Point and a career in IT. Currently living in Connecticut, Terry has served on his local and regional boards of education. Terry remains active with his GBS class working to install a vertical moss garden wall in the New Pit.

Director
Tony Deguide is arguably the # 1 Titan supporter. Since he founded the original Glenbrook Breakfast Club at GBS, Tony has been following in John Hughes' footsteps producing movies. He is also finding the time to help the Alumni Association produce Glenbrook Fest with his marketing and fundraising talents.
